Training room hire
the entire space can fit 40 people or create two rooms with 20 people each, perfect for specific training or break out-groups. Each room comes with all AV equipment, including data projector, whiteboard and flip charts.
Tea and coffee facilities are available but the cost of the room does not include catering. Flintwood can recommend a few local cafes if you would like to organise meals or snacks for participants.
Wheelchair accessible bus hire
Flintwood’s wheelchair accessible vehicle is available for hire. It’s a Toyota HiAce and it’s been designed to transport people with disabilities or the frail aged. It comes with a Disabled Parking Label to make your journey easier.
Anyone with a C class licence can drive it. No special courses, just an induction by staff. You can even do your induction on the day you hire, just make sure you plan some extra time so our staff can show you how everything works, including the Wheelchair Q’straints and the hoist.
Flintwood is dedicated to bettering the lives of people with disabilities and local communities. To continue our work, corporate sponsorship plays a massive role in our success. Corporate sponsors have the opportunity to give back to the local community and be recognised for it.
Flintwood is always seeking new associate members of our organisation. Associate membership gives you voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) so you can help shape and direct the way Flintwood operates.
You might be a parent or carer of a participant, you might be an interested community member, you might have life or work experience to offer. We welcome your involvement and support and encourage you to apply.
Flintwood facilitates many internal and public community events throughout the year, It is a massive help when a vendor offers to help flintwood in any part of the event process.
As a provider of services to those with disabilities, Flintwood is always extremely grateful for any help we receive via donation. Donations make a huge difference in the way we run our facilities and programs and what we can offer our participants.
We’ll be honest, people and families whose lives have been touched by disability are often doing it tough. As an NDIS service provider, we have the power to make their lives easier, fuller and more satisfying. Your donations allow us to improve our services and give more to the people who need us.
